Z1 Interstate Warfare News: Havok Out, Slater In + Rocky Menero returns!

Slater replaces Havok in Main Event

The line-up for Team ZERO1 has now been changed as BRUCE ‘HAVOK’ MILLS will be replaced by DAMIAN SLATER in the 6-Man Elimination Main Event. HAVOK will now face ALEX KINGSTON in singles action. The original line-up was selected by ZERO1 Commissioner TOM CHOCOLATE but we have learned that Team Captain ‘JAG’ HARTLEY JACKSON made the surprise change. “Slater is the only member of the ZERO1 roster who has defeated all 3 of our opponents in singles competition. He is coming off a stellar 2012 and a huge win over Ikuto Hidaka. With all due respect to Havok who is one of the most experienced wrestlers in the country, Slater is a necessary part of the team if we’re to have a shot at winning this thing” said JACKSON. All appears to be well in the camp after the change and we look forward to seeing how it plays out on the 12th!

Rocky Menero announced as Special Guest Enforcer for Main Event

ZERO1 Commissioner TOM CHOCOLATE was faced with a dilemma when deciding who would referee the Main Event for INTERSTATE WARFARE. If the series is locked up at 2-2 during the night, this match will have much on the line. Both ZERO1 senior official NICK SAVAGE and EPW senior official MATT SMARKSON will be splitting their duties on the night in 4 of the earlier State Of Origin matches. It appears as though TOM CHOCOLATE will be deciding who referees the Main Event with the flip of a coin prior to the match. However in the interest of fairness, CHOCOLATE has brought back Australian wrestling legend ROCKY MENERO to act as the Special Guest Enforcer outside of the ring. One of the most celebrated members of the Australian wrestling faculty, MENERO recently retired from in-ring action due to injury after competing twice for ZERO1 against both HARTLEY JACKSON and DAMIAN SLATER in early 2012. Having wrestled for both ZERO1 and EPW in the past, MENERO is a solid choice to ensure that a deserving victor is decided.
